What’s Involved in Joining the Parents & Friends (P&F) - An insight from Jessamy, P & F Member
Time Commitment:
P&F meetings are held approximately once a month during the school term, typically on Tuesday evenings at 6:30 PM—around nine meetings per year. You’re welcome to attend as many or as few meetings as your schedule allows. Most meetings run for an hour or less. You don’t need to be a committee member to attend—just come along when it suits you. Some meetings are held online for convenience, while in-person meetings often include drinks and nibbles in a relaxed, social setting.
What Does the P&F Actually Do?
The Parents & Friends group exists to support and connect the CCW community. We organise and host a range of events including the school fete, family picnics, morning teas, the Winter Ball, Cocktail Party, and Ladies’ Days. We also run the Mother’s Day and Father’s Day stalls. Some events include a fundraising component, and the funds raised allow us to:
Support CCW families in times of need-
Contribute to school projects (like the Middle School playground)
Assist specific year levels
Support selected charities
New to the School?
You’re very Welcome! Whether you’re new to CCW or have been part of the community for years, we value every contribution—big or small. Everyone is welcome to get involved, and it’s a great way to meet other parents and feel more connected to school life.
