Theatre Productions
Each year at Cathedral College Wangaratta there is a Junior and Senior Production.
The Junior Production consists of students Years Three to Five, with rehearsals taking place in the allocated Performing Arts sessions during the day. Year Five students audition for the lead roles.
In 2022 the Junior Production will be 'Pirates of Penzance Junior'.
The Senior Production is inclusive of Middle and Senior School students. Students wishing to perform as a main character are required to audition for their chosen part.
In 2022 the Senior Production will be 'Alice in Wonderland'.
Alice in Wonderland - 2022
Audiences were taken down the rabbit hole with zany characters, mad tea parties, flamingo croquet on the lawn, and dancing playing cards, all in a land where nothing is as it seems.
The ever-curious Alice, the White Rabbit, Tweedle-Dee and Tweedle-Dum, the Mad Hatter, the Caterpillar, the Mock Turtle, the Door mouse, the mysterious Cheshire Cat, the Queen of Hearts, and all the favourites from Lewis Carroll's beloved books, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland made this a magical, whimsical, tuneful, and over-the-top entertaining musical. It was an outstanding performance.
