Our History

Cathedral College Wangaratta (CCW) was established to provide an independent Prep to Year Twelve Anglican education for the Wangaratta and surrounding communities. The first 23 students of CCW began in 2003 at The Close on the grounds of Wangaratta’s Anglican Cathedral. In 2011, the College was acquired by the Anglican Schools Commission (now AngliSchools), and the two campuses of CCW were gradually consolidated on the current site.

The College proudly welcomes a thriving community of over 1,000 students, all learning and growing together on one vibrant campus. This unified environment fosters collaboration, innovation, and a strong sense of belonging, ensuring every student has access to excellent facilities and a supportive academic culture.
